Scroll Two: The Calendar

Everything happens as the flow of nature does, and the calander is oriented around the movement of nature. Learn it well...

Ehksa'hehraeynh: The birth of all things, it is celebrated as the time in which everything was created, after the Deities were born from Kiaq. As it is told in myth, each of the Deities was born on the whole moon in the first months of the year. Then, having nowheres to live, they forced Kiaq to create a place for them to live, and so he never finished his plans to create a Deity for every moon of the year. This moon cycle is known as Ehksa'hehraeynh, or The Birth of All Things.

Ehreihahn mou'hahtah: The last day of Eska'hehraynh, known as the first day of the new year. This was established after the defeat of Kiaq on this day, and the day in which humans first walked the earth, and the first day of the alleigance of the Deities.

Aeho'hehroh: Traditionally the day in which the first of the harvest was collected, generally the eigth full moon. Directly translated it means Day of The Earth, for the Deities gave over control of the earth to man almost three hundred years after the earth was born, and humans had a large feast in celebration of their sucess.

Neihehth ahn d'ouhaeloh: Known to man as Mid-Summers-Night Eve, meaning the Night of the Elves, for this was the sacred holiday of the elves untill the Leaving of the second age, or in 873 in common refrence. There was fasting the day before, and that night they feasted in the woods, living by the light of the moon to be close to the Deities.

Ehrahneiche: Known more comonly as the Winter solctice in which they pray to bring the sun back from its rest to light the day.

Ssehvahnoh: Known more comonly as the Summer solctice, where they thank the sun for what is has done, and allow it to rest for the winter.

All new moons are holidays, where they pray to bring the moon back, and thank the Deities for their forgivness, and guidance and ask for it once more so that they may live in peace. Blue moons, when they occur, are celebrated as a phenominon, though much superstition has gone into them. Comets are celbrated as a sign from the Deities, and many use them as a form of Divination.

Each holiday has its own specific cerimonies to go with it, but that shall come later when you have been proven worthy to worship the Deities in thier own plane. Nature controls our lives, allow it to fill you up with its siplicity, complexity, beauty, fear, peace, let it fill you up untill there is nothing but peace within yourself and peace with yourself. Allow nature to dictate everyhting, and move as it does in the way of the world...

Scroll One: The Elements

You have completed your first journmey, and it is back to the scrolls to learn the sacred texts of the Deities. In order to become a Preistess/Preist, you must be knowlegable in all the texts that remain to date. First, however you must learn the symbollic representation of the elements.

Fire: Symbolic of light, warmth and heat, represented in cerimonies by a pit of fire made with olive oil or other oil that came from the earth. Faces the north.

Wind: Symbolic of peace and symetry, represented in cerimonies by a feather from a bird of the wind, though generally a simple raven feather. Faces the east.

Water: Symbolic of power and strength, represented in cerimonies by a bowl of water from the stream of the river Ehlahno'hehrn, though river water will do. Faces the west.

Earth: Symbolic of time and change, represented in cerimonies by a shoot of the tree of Ancients. Faces the south.

Soul: Symbolic of the Circle of Kael, represented in cerimonies by a simple flower from the earth, for it was brought to life by all the other elements. Placed in the center.

All of the elements help to create each individual being, whether human or not. Nothing can exist without being created from all the elements, as is represented by the flower. YOu have been taught the first scroll, though this scroll can be referenced as many times as needed, for its contents should not be lost.

Time of the Deities

You have begun your journey, but before you can truely believe, you must come to peace with yourself. Here are your guides. Do not betray them, but listen wisely and respect every word they say, for nay a wiser word shall you hear...

Poinah: He is your guide throughout this life, as he guides all life in their own path, for niether god nor evil, but down the path that has been chosen for each individual. He is of the north that leads the stars, sun, and moon through the sky. The youngest of the Deities.

Kiaq: He is the father of the deities, and though he has been dead for many years, his soul still wanders to give guidance to people in hope that he may be reunited with his children and ask for forgiveness. He may try and mislead you on your journey, the man of trickery he has been called, but he is the father of all and nothing and if you can sort through the trickery, you will hear the wisest words of old.

Ceh'shohmeh: The Goddess of Birth and Rebirth, she is the bringer of life and will guide your soul through its own path, and protect it from the clutches of death. Her guidance is blessed of mothers. She has the power to bring life into the world, and she guards the gate through which the souls pass to enter and re-enter this world. She is of the good and does not believe in taking life away from those who still have time left to live. She is of the east, the birthplace of the sun and moon. One of the eldest children.

Kae'heln: The Goddess of Life, she holds all life sacred and is the balance of the Circle of Kael, which is the circle that all souls go through until reaching the place of peace in the Realm of the Goddess. She is neutral and will tell you only facts, not trying to persuade you one way or another against her siblings. She is of the west, where life continues even after it seems lost. She is the middle child.

Heinuah: The Goddess of Love, she believes that love bringspeace, balance, and happiness to life. She is neutral as well, though has been known to side with her oplder sisters. Though she will try and loet love distract you, she believes that love brings one back into life, instead of away. She is of thesouth, for while love can destract one, it helps to bring one back facing north. She is the youngest sister.

Deh'mohrae: The God of Death and the Afterlife, he helps to complete the Circle of Kael and has come to judge your soul to see if it is worthy to pass through. He guards the Realm of the Goddess, though it has been said that he has joined the side of evil, but the siblings will not hear word against one of their own. He is of the down, which is where his own realm is, hidden from all except those who he does not find worthy to enter the Realm of the Goddess whose souls live there in eternal torment. They can see only the edge of the gates where the soul either goes back, or resides in the Realm of the Goddess. He is the oldest son and twin of Ceh'shohmeh, with whom he has caused great conflict in the past.

If you have come this far, your soul has reached the end to either turn back or live in the Realm of the Goddess. Last of all, your soul shall be judged by the Goddess herself. It is time to meet her now...

Naeheikei: The Great Goddess, The Protector. She proctects all life and is the bringer of all existance. She is good, and protects the directions, the elements, and all of nature along with her kin whom she holds dear. She is the eldest of the children and wisest of them all, so listen to every word she has to say. Everything that has ever come to pass has been seen in her eyes, for she misses nothing, and hears all. Some say she gained some of Kiaqs trickery, but she does not show it. She is of the up, to the heavens where all things were created, and where the Deities live in peace together. Trust her wisdom...

You have been far, and have met your guides, but you still have much to learn. Leave the Deities to their business, and follow me to learn the ways of the Priestess/Priest...
